There are so many different things to do during your stay at Nurture Creek, depending on which package you choose, you have time with Bek and the Animals, what happens in that time is totally up to you on the day, Here are a few of our favourites ways to spend the time here.
We feed the gang twice a day and this is your chance to get up close and personal with us by helping feed and learn about our furry family members.
Learn about all the different foods they eat and help fill hay bags and buckets - they certainly love those who feed them!
Come into the paddocks and interact with whoever is there, or we can choose a particular animal and give you a real bonding experience, with anyone from the cows, goats, pigs, horses, chickens, sheep even our alpacas.
Connect with Nature and Realign Your Energy!

Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the healing power of Reiki amidst the serene beauty of the Australian temperate rainforest. Let nature guide you back to your heart and the earth. We look forward to sharing this transformative experience with you!
Building a connection with a horse is an incredible gift. During this experience you'll start by catching one of the horses then learning to lead and groom her. Then you can braid her mane and tail, while learning to listen to her body language. You can then take her for a walk or just spend the time cuddling and connecting with her.
Ideally suited for older children and adults and sorry, but we can't offer pony rides at Nurture Creek
Do you love or hate reptiles? Either way, this half hour experience will be a game changer for you.
Our son Lachlan, will introduce you to Bobby, his Bearded Dragon and you can learn about him and how he lives and eats while holding and touching him.
At various times of the year we have bonfires to clear the property. This is very weather dependant and is not guaranteed during every stay but if you're super keen, let us know and we will see what we can do.
That said, we can help you arrange a small campfire at most times during the year (fire season excluded). We have a fire pit that we can set up with the camp chairs and you can enjoy toasting some marshmallows!
We have over 5 acres of native bush and we also adjoin the beautiful Sassafras Creek trails so have plenty to explore, which you can do at any time.
But if you would like a Guided Walk with Bek along our trail and through the property, we can arrange it. She'll help you notice all the little things, do a little bit of forest bathing, mindfullness and breathing exercises. Learn about the flora and fauna, hunt scat and fungi, and enjoy the stories of scar trees...you might even find a nest or burrow..
Animals poop...and with so many of them that equates to lots of it. So most weeks we grab the wheel barrow, head into one of the paddocks, grab shovels and pick it all up.
When we do, we find all sorts of things like dung beetles, fungi and worms. The kids seem to love learning about all the different poos and it's a great way to show the kids that there is always work to be done, and that it's good to pitch in as a team and contribute.
We'll set you up then leave you to connect, you'll be amazed at the conversations that open up while you're busy doing something so repetitive. My favourite way to get my kids to open up and chat!
Without street lights, the night sky comes alive almost every night (clouds depending). During the full moon it is as if the property is flood-lit, and there's nothing more magical than sitting and enjoying the peaceful farm, with the animals heading off to sleep and listening to the natives that come out.
You'll hear/see anything from owls, possums, foxes, deer and frogs, but always see thousands of stars.
